01. The Challenge
HollandFixer was thrilled to collaborate with Silverback Films, a renowned production company responsible for producing numerous successful projects, including the iconic BBC series “Blue Planet.” Our challenge was to produce an innovative segment for The Earthshot Prize, a five-part hour-long documentary series that aims to promote innovative solutions to environmental challenges. Our focus was on creating a compelling segment that showcased the use of greenhouses to produce lettuce and promoted sustainable agricultural practices.
02. The Solution
To achieve our goal, HollandFixer provided location scouting and management services for the on-location shoot in Limburg. Our team ensured that the shoot went smoothly and that all necessary permits were obtained. We were also responsible for arranging transportation, accommodations, and catering for the crew to facilitate the production process.
In addition, our skilled production team was able to effectively convey the interviewee’s message to the audience, capturing the essence of their story in a compelling way. We utilized a drone to capture stunning aerial shots at the pier of Hoek van Holland, following all safety regulations while capturing these breathtaking views.
I never knew lettuce could be so photogenic! We spent hours getting just the right angle and lighting for those beautiful green leaves. I think I’ve developed a newfound appreciation for salad.– ANDRES MELO
