Nanko Goeting, an award-winning Director of Photography, has traversed the globe capturing the essence of diverse stories through his lens. With a remarkable portfolio comprising over 50 TV commercials, 17 feature films, and more than 10 documentaries, Nanko’s cinematography prowess is widely recognized.
Cinematic Achievements
Nanko’s career soared with his debut film as Director of Photography, an enchanting portrayal of his hometown Rotterdam in the summer of 2017. His recent collaboration with acclaimed Director Johan Kramer on the documentary “Keepers” garnered critical acclaim, earning a prestigious Dutch film award at the Dutch Film Festival in 2019.
Artistic Journey and Expertise
Graduating from the Willem de Kooning School of Art in 2009, Nanko’s passion for visual storytelling blossomed during his time at the Massachusetts School of Art, where he studied film and photography in 2007 and 2008.
